Occasionally, the Boinc clients forgets me and anything about me, acts like it was first installed.

It seems to have lost all my recent seti@home work, any projects that I'm attached to, etc.

Why?

Thanks

Fair enough.

Indeed it does say "BOINC Manager - (localhost)" at the top of the window.

I'm on Win 7x64.

thanks

Oddly enough, a day later and it has magically remembered me and what I was working on. But that was weird...

Right now it does say "Connected To Localhost (6.10.58)", but I don't know if it did yesterday or not. I don't know what the 6.10.58 means.

thanks

It's the BOINC (client) version number that the manager is connected to.

Yeah, I've rebooted since then. If the manager quit, I was not aware of it, but it sounds like really no big deal.
