The first of my questions - I'm running the BOINC manager in advanced mode on Ubuntu 11.4, and getting constantly spammed with:

(boincmgr:18865): Gtk-WARNING **: /build/buildd/gtk+2.0-2.24.4/gtk/gtkwidget.c:9971: widget class `GtkPizza' has no property named `row-ending-details'

in terminal.

Another bug I have is whenever I click on a button to a webpage, I get:

(boincmgr:18865): Gtk-WARNING **: /build/buildd/gtk+2.0-2.24.4/gtk/gtkwidget.c:9971: widget class `GtkPizza' has no property named `row-ending-details'
execvp(epiphany, http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/projects_showcase/viewResearch.do) failed with error 2!

I guess these are bugs, so where do I file a bug report?

-----

I also have one little quirky question that I don't know if anybody knows the answer to - but I love my i7 Extreme too much - so I have to ask:

When I go into system monitor, I see my cpu usage on all 6 cores go up and down in a extremely wavy pattern, it pulses up to 70% and down to 10% every few seconds. I have my gridrepublic settings to stop computing at 50%.

Is this pulsating computation any worse for the processor than a solid computation of 40-ish%? And is there some sort of setting that i could change to not make it so wavy so that other processes don't have their computation pulsed in reverse?

Ubuntu 11.04! What client version did you install and was it from a .sh file or via the Synaptic package manager? 6.10.59 [from Synaptic] runs perfectly fine here on that Linux, kernel 2.6.38.9

The pulsating CPU load is a result of the way the BOINC throttle was implemented. If you go to the Activity menu and set "run always" it goes away. Have never needed to use the BOINC throttle, default 60% at WCG.
