I have a second PC with a Core i7. It shows 8 CPU's (I think it has 4 cores that are each hyperthreaded). It is running Windows 7 Professional.

Anyway, when it runs, task manager shows 3 of them working with a medium load, one of them with a minor load, and 4 with no cycles at all. The total CPU usage scale shows an average of 12%. I have the preferences set to use at most 100% of the processors and 100% CPU time. I am running Rosetta.

How can I make it run at close to 100% instead of 12%? Can I change the maximum to 800% maybe?

How many tasks are running concurrently?

If less than eight, what's their memory footprint?

Does Rosetta restrict the count of tasks?
