am i the only one who uses the latest official version 4.43 ona solaris 2.7 ???
i have so many problems by using my 2 processors with E@H or E@H + S@H and the boincview 1.2.2 that it is hard to go on with grid-computing :-)

You are not the only one using 4.43 on a real computer. I am running the 4.43 client on my Sun Blade 100 w/Solaris 10.

As I start BOINC with init.d, I do not need the pretty screen saver, or any of that other fancy GUI stuff. Let it work in the background, as it should. I haven't checked (maybe I should) to see if the 5.x client source code is available for compiling with a SPARC machine.

It is rock solid on my Sunblade 100 also. I think he plays with the boinc setup and over manages it instead of just letting it run.

no no... ;-) ... i let it run... but if i compare E@H to S@H or SZTAKI it is much more instable... but you're right, i don't know if its albert, boinc or boincview... i let it run... until i have a third project without problems.. sorry for E@H....
