Service install.

I am assuming that the manager will operate in the same way as communication with the core should be exactly the same. In case... (!)... there are things I am missing, are there things I am missing? I run mine as a service for exactly that reason, if I’m away from home for a couple of months and home has a power cut then I don’t want to loose a lot of crunching time. But that’s Linux which installs as a service by default and I presume you’re Windows so … ID: 112740 ·

You don't have to "delete" anything. Just uninstall the current programs from the control panel, then re-run the installer and make the 'service' change in the advanced settings page. It'll use all your existing projects and settings without change. ID: 112744 ·

Problem with that is that a Service Install is greyed out and says it needs a reboot, which I can't do right now as I have another job running which has 2 days, (probably), left to go.
