Hello everyone,
Week ago I was faced with problems with ECM task (part of YOYO home project).
This task totally kills my PC by allocating all avaible memory, so performace reduces split-second and computer became totally unusable.
Right now, BOINC is switched off. I've tried to reinstall it but no way.
Any solutions for this problem?
Thank you in advance!

Seems it has been reported: Wir benötigen eine Option zur Verhinderung der ECM-Monster (We need an option to prevent ECM monsters)

Suggest you TRANSLATE the Yoyo page text - unless you can read German.

As for Uninstall/Reinstalling BOINC that will NOT fix the problem.

Thank you lads for your help.
I've created app_config.xml file for ECM task with such contenst:
<app_config>
   <app>
	 <name>ecm</name>
         <max_concurrent>1</max_concurrent>
   </app>
</app_config>

And it works, it limits ECM only for one task simultaneously (it allocates about 4gB of RAM with is acceptable).
Thanks for the tips!
