hey, ive just started a new project and finished an other.

but in this project i only have like 15-20% cpu usage. in the other i had 100%.

does anyone knows the solution of my problem?

my settings are like ultra high, prozessor should be at 100% always, ive made 200gb free of HDD space for boinc, unlimited network, and maximum ram use of 75% from 16GB.

i got you some pictures: CPU Usage:

Virtualbox CPU %:

CPU Settings:

hdd and RAM settings:

network settings:

Are there any settings for virtualbox? the other project doesnt needed any settings. but when i start oracle virtualbox, nothing happens.

thanks for your patience. ;)

Your images on my system present complete blur when zoomed up from thumbnail.

I can click on them and they open a large image on a separate website.

@Lucas, seeing how this all happens with LHC, have you asked them on their forums if this is normal behaviour with VirtualBox? It's possible that the image is still being loaded in and that that takes a while.

Looking at the pictures OS appears to be Windows 10. What VirtualBox version is? Have you tried updating it to the latest version?

alright. i installed the updated version of virtualbox and i got 5 active tasks of virtualbox now, sometimes 50% usage but most of the time around 25%

and ive got 13,3GB RAM now in use, what the f* ? 2 tasks arent starting because of waiting for memory?

edit: yep: virtualbox is loading my RAM full.. (16GB DDR4 to less?)

this pictures shows the RAM usage after stopping virtualbox https://www.pic-upload.de/view-32657705/stoppingvirtualbox.jpg.html

Tasks using VirtualBox are usually big. The CMS tasks you had in the picture take 2 GB of RAM per task. You may want to add another project with smaller tasks to fill the rest of the CPU.
